We have several different coaches for several different events that come and volunteer to help the kids. Each coach may have different ideas, and different ways of teaching. We vet these coaches very well knowing their success in the Rodeo world. If you are a parent and you are watching your child at practice and a coach is working with your child on something like tightening a headstall, changing stirrup legnth, switching from left to right on a pattern. Allow your child to do so to see if there is improvement in their riding. An eye that doesn't look often sees more. If you cannot handle a coach making changes like this to see if they can make the improvements needed (You can always change it back if you feel differently) stay at the trailer. At NO TIME should any parent be yelling at a coach because they are not liking a change that may stick and make your child a better rider. If it doesn't work, it can be changed back. But you may be amazed as to the improvement's that can be made with a little tack tweak. If you cannot handle that you have every option to not have your child practice that event. Be respectful and kind these folks are volunteering to help your child.
The equipment provided is expensive. This is NOT a playground for your small children to play in. ONLY MEMBERS should be in the trailer using the equipment as it is intended. Your child should not be riding on practice dummies like toys or getting into the trailer and making a mess. If your little one wants to play with a rope a PARENT MUST be present to keep an eye on them. Do not let your children run wild with the equipment trailer.
This is a YOUTH Event. NO ALCHOHOL OR MARIJUANA IS TO BE INSIDE THE RED GATES, ARENA, BACKPENS, OR CONTESTANT AREAS. Please keep all these items at your trailer.
2026 backtags will have different colors for first years and for returning members. If you are a first year we expect you to make mistakes and learn from them with ground rules, etc. If you are a returning member you are being held to a higher standard as you know the rules and breaking them will not be tolerated. The different colors will allow us to notice visually from afar if you are a new member or a returning member.
in order to participate in the 2026 PRO AM the $100 sponsorship will still be needed. We are implementing a volunteering clause for 2026. A Parent or Member MUST volunteer at a rodeo or slack in order to receive an invitation. Volunteer sheets are out in advance for people to volunteer to set barrels, poles, help in many ways. Please sign up for volunteering in 2026.
Be mindful of where and how your park your trailers. There needs to be a driving lane for each line of trailers. Trailers need to be parked north and south in the camping area in front and day parking can only be used for people not staying the night. IF YOU HAVE A TRUCK AND TRAILER AND EXTRA CARS AND YOU DISCONNECT FROM YOUR TRUCK, PARK IT IN THE TRUCK AND CAR PARKING. Or any extra Cars please park in the West lot for cars and truck only. We need all the room for trailer parking and camping that we can get.
YOU WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE YOUR SETUP IF YOU DO NOT PARK APROPRIATLEY.
ABSOLUTLY NO BICYCLES, E BIKES, SEGWAYS, ONE WHEELS, 4 WHEELERS ETC ARE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS. TEH ONLY GOLF CARTS/THREE WHEELERS/SIDE BY SIDES ALLOWED ARE USED BY STAFF AND HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS IF NEEDED. PLEASE SEE THE DIRECTOR IF YOU NEED TO BRING THESE ITEMS FOR HANDICAPPED USE.
